Walk and Talk
There are a few ways use this service!
Garden Walk & Consultation - A two-hour on-site session to discuss your garden, providing ideas, experience, opinions, and practical resources to help move past planning or installation challenges. Sometimes we need the perspective of “fresh eyes” on a space. Includes a follow-up summary email.
Seasonal Maintenance Coaching - A guided walk-through of your garden focused on the upcoming season. We’ll discuss next-phase planning, plant recommendations, seasonal maintenance practices, and relocation of existing plants as needed. A customized follow-up email with a seasonal checklist is included.
Design Updates - We’ll walk the space with your existing design and discuss material or layout adjustments based on budget or lifestyle changes. I won’t critique another designer’s plan, but can suggest modifications if your needs or desires have shifted since the design was created.
$250 for two in-person hours with follow-up email
Garden Design
This service is ideal for homeowners who plan to self-install or hire their own contractor, but want a clear vision and detailed implementation plan.
Concept – Following an initial site visit and measurements, a concept design is created, including zone illustrations, a perspective drawing, plant palette, and visual inspiration. One revision is included, with communication by email or Zoom.
Design Delivery – The final package includes a scaled planting plan, installation documents, materials and plant list, and treatment notes.
Follow-Up – To support your success, a 30-minute follow-up call is included after delivery to clarify any details, and Jen remains available by phone for questions during installation.
Design + Install
This is a great option for homeowners needing a design within a project budget who want Jen to install or oversee the installation of the garden, including irrigation and hardscaping. This service includes drawing design elements using natural materials. Projects range in size from one garden area to a full property installation.
A limited number of installations can be scheduled for fall and spring, but the design portion can be completed year-round. Some projects require a two-season plant installation process. All plants are procured and placed by Jen on site if she’s not installing herself.
The process begins with an initial phone call and site visit. Designs include a conceptual phase, contractor bids, and then final design drawing. Design and installation service includes a follow-up site visit the following season.
